This Privacy Policy explains how this website — the landing page for Crossed, a privacy-first social memory app now available on Google Play, with the iOS version arriving September 1, 2026 — handles information. Our approach is simple: we collect as little as possible, and we do not track you.
1. Information this site collects
- No analytics or advertising trackers. This page uses no analytics, no advertising pixels, no fingerprinting, and no third-party tracking scripts.
- No cookies. We do not set cookies or use local storage to identify you.
- No third-party fonts or CDNs. Typography is served from this site itself, so no font provider sees your visit.
- Waitlist email. When you submit the waitlist form, we collect the email address you provide and use it solely to add you to our iOS launch waitlist and to email you a confirmation and a notification when Crossed reaches the App Store. We do not sell it or use it for advertising, and you can ask us to delete it at any time (see “Your choices”).
- Hosting logs. Our hosting/CDN provider (Vercel) may process standard technical request data such as IP address and browser user-agent to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, in line with Vercel's own policies.
2. Third-party services
- Vercel provides hosting and content delivery for this site.
- Resend (resend.com) stores your waitlist email on our behalf and delivers the confirmation and launch-notification emails.
3. About the Crossed app
Crossed is designed to be private by default. Inside the app, comparisons run only on approved traces, require mutual consent, and return approximate results — raw history is never shown or shared. The app itself is governed by its own, separate policy — the Crossed app Privacy Policy — which covers what the app collects, where it is stored, and how to delete it. This page covers only the website and the waitlist.
4. Your choices
You can ask us to remove your email from the waitlist at any time — just email crossed@crossed.cloud and we will delete it. Every email we send also includes an unsubscribe option.
5. Children
This site and the Crossed app are not directed to children under the age required by local law, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
